Manchester United have both made their desire to sign Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig known, according to reports.
Upamecano has developed into one of Europe’s most highly rated defenders in recent years and played a pivotal role in Leipzig reaching the
Champions League semi-finals for the first time in their history last season.
As a result, several of the continent’s biggest clubs have been linked with the 22-year-old, with
United always amongst the touted names.
According to SportBild, via SportWitness, the two Manchester clubs have ‘pledged their interest’ in Upamecano, alongside Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Elsewhere, many of United’s players are on international duty right now, with Donny van de Beek finding the net in fine style for the Netherlands against Spain
