Chelsea and former Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud have agreed on a deal that will keep the French striker at Stamford Bridge for the next one year.

Giroud will turn foes against his beloved Arsenal this Saturday …

Giroud joined Chelsea from fellow London rivals Arsenal in 2018 and he helped the team win the FA Cup and the UEFA Europa League against his former club.

The 33 years old was linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer but there have been a U-turn as the France international signed a new deal with the Blues.

Giroud said this after signing a new deal with Chelsea: “I am delighted to continue my journey and adventure at Chelsea. I can’t wait to get back to playing and enjoying competitive football with my team-mates. I’m looking forward to wearing the Chelsea shirt again, especially in front of our fans at a full Stamford Bridge, whenever it is safe to do so.”
